Matthew 24:15

Abomination that maketh desolation

68 040 And the Moslem of Omar was erected where the temple stood. And Jesus spoke of that in Matthew 24; He said, "When you see the abomination that maketh desolation standing in the holy place, where the prophet Daniel spoke, said about it," then it's in parenthesis, said, "(he that readeth, let him understand)." See, "When you see this abomination, the filthiness of the Moslem of Omar standing there where the holy place once stood..." And today the Moslem stands there exactly where the holy place, right on the temple site. The Mohammedan Moslem stands as Jesus said it would do, as Daniel said it would do, and Jesus verified it that it would do. END OF QUOTE

616-109 048 In A.D. 96, Titus came in and captured Jerusalem and burnt the temple, and they built the Mosque of Omar (the Mohammedan religion) right on the temple grounds, and still stands there to this day. And it will stand there until God returns to the Jews again. "And the abomination (that is the Mosque of Omar) that maketh desolation of the holy place," standing in the holy place... See? Jesus referred to it, said, and in parenthesis, "(let he that readeth understand)." See? Therefore, He give so many days from that time until the--after the Prince and so many days, and so forth, which we get into next Sunday. And I'll try to, the best of my knowledge, to get that in for you for next Sunday. But that abomination is the Mosque of Omar that took the place of the temple, that, "When you see the abomination that maketh desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place..." See, standing where the temple stood (the holy place), the Mosque of Omar... END OF QUOTE

BEGINNING.ENDING.GENTILE.DISPENSATION.title JEFF.IN 55-0109E E-27 027 Notice, two thousand, yeah, twenty-five hundred years the Jews has been scattered to every nation under heaven. As God hardened Pharaoh's heart, bringing them back, He hardened Hitler's heart, Mussolini's heart, and so forth, till He's drove them back to Palestine. Coming back they have made them a nation again, and on May the sixth, 1947, the Jewish flag was raised over Israel for the first time for twenty-five hundred years. The oldest flag in the world was raised for the first time in twenty-five hundred years. And He said in the last days He'd raise up a ensign over Jerusalem, showing that the time is at hand. And notice, here not long ago I seen a prophetic reel played from over there, and they're bringing in those Jews by the thousands, by airplanes. You've seen it in the paper and so forth. "Look" and "Life" magazines been packing it. Thousands of Jews returning, and they asked them, said, "What are you returning for?" Old crippled people packing on their backs their little young ones with them, said, "Are you coming back to your homeland to die?" Said, "No, we're coming back to see the Messiah." Jesus said, "When you see the fig tree putting forth its buds and all the other trees putting forth their buds, know that time is nigh," or spring is nigh, summer. "So when you see these things come to pass, lift up your heads; your redemption's drawing nigh." END OF QUOTE

TEN.VIRGINS.title JEFF.IN ROJC 425-492 60-1211M 72 043 "Now, when you see the abomination that maketh desolation standing in the holy place..." Now... Then in the days of the coming of Titus after Jesus had left, the Holy Spirit was that Man with the inkhorn at His side. And He went through Jerusalem and set a mark upon the people. And now, I want you to notice something, church member: And you claim to have the Holy Spirit? He said, "Don't seal any of them but them that sigh and cry for the abominations that's done in the city." Now, where's anybody so burdened about the world now and their condition? Well, "I'm Methodist. I'm Baptist, Presbyterian, so what difference does it make?" they say. Oh, not that constant burden for the lost, that sweetness. Don't never let anything rise up and put bitterness in your soul. No matter how bad anyone ever treats you or anything, don't never... Don't be guilty of letting that thing anchor in your soul. It'll grieve the Holy Spirit away from you. It certainly will.
